Our Team

Jay Weaver jay@wwcompany.com

Through his BBA in Finance at University of Georgia and his hands-on work experience, Jay Weaver developed an innovative approach to land use and development.  After graduation, Weaver became the Development Manager for Dan Cowart, Inc., and was responsible for the development of a 150,000 square-foot new retail center on 17 acres in North Fulton, a growing region of Atlanta. 

He has also served as an investment director for the Brookdale Group, where he was involved in the analysis of $275 million of suburban office properties in the southeast.  As a development manager with Winter Properties, Inc., Weaver's projects included the successful analysis and acquisition of a 5.5 acre, 150,000 square-foot office redevelopment in Midtown Atlanta, formerly known as the Baptist Home Mission Board Headquarters.

Weaver's wealth of experience in large office projects has been instrumental in the company's successful development and repositioning of significant commercial real estate ventures.

After Graduating from the University of Georgia, David Woodbery began his real estate career as a commercial broker specializing in office and industrial space.  In 1992 he began developing residential projects with Ashwood Properties.  During this time he became an expert in all aspects of residential development including land analysis, acquisition, rezoning, and construction.

In 1995, Woodbery formed his first residential development company, Northstar Associates, Inc., which has a successful track record of developments throughout the Metro Atlanta region.  Through Weaver & Woodbery Company and Northstar Associates, Woodbery has made it a priority to work with communities and neighborhoods and has focused on long-term planning on all projects.  His wide range of skills and expertise has helped him excel in the field of mixed-use development.
